Whether birthday dinner, engagement celebration, or company retreat, Stones Throw is now available for private events. You can package your event with rooms (at any of our 3 hotels) or other events (at any of our 3 restaurants).
FYI — Private events must be booked through our events team using the inquiry form. They'll get back to you within 48 hours. Our restaurant staff is not prepared to book private events.
The Back Deck
The back deck at Stones Throw is the best-kept secret on Long Sands. While there are no ocean views, it's a quiet and private spot to eat and drink with friends or family.

Weekdays: $250 for two hours + $500 minimum spend

Weekdays: $500 for two hours + $1,500 minimum spend
Weekends: $750 for two hours + $1,750 minimum spend
The Island Rooftop Bar
The rooftop bar at "the island" — aka the building to the right of the main Stones Throw building — is the perfect place to perch and enjoy the view. Make the entire building yours by renting all (or some!) of the 8 Beach Club Queen rooms.

Event FAQ and Policies
What is included in rental fee?
The space rental fee includes two hours of active use and 30 minutes of access prior to your event (for putting up decorations, etc.) Additional hours can be added, of course!
Can I package this with rooms?
Yes! We have 36 total beachfront guest rooms between The Nevada and Stones Throw, with an additional 18 suites at our nearby spot The Viewpoint.
Parking
Our parking is for overnight guests only, meaning we can only provide parking if you package your private events with rooms. Long Sands has plenty of street parking. Depending on the date of your event, we may be able to provide a limited number of parking spots — especially from October to May.
Can I bring outside food or drink?
We do not permit outside food or drink. However, we can serve custom dishes, drinks, or desserts. Outside dessert may be permitted, if our kitchen team is unable to fulfill your vision, with a plate and serving fee.
How does the minimum spend work?
All food and beverage applies to minimum spend. The minimum spend is not inclusive of gratuity.
Can I pre-order food?
For groups 20 or more, food must be pre-ordered ahead of time with our events team. For groups 19 or less, it is still recommended — but you may order from our menu a la carte.
