Must check out by 11AM. Late checkouts will be charged a fee of $75 or more.
Age requirement
The person checking in must be 21 years of age or older.
Reservation deposit
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required & payable at time of booking to confirm all reservations. Reservations of 7 or more nights will require a deposit equal to half of the entire stay. The balance of the reservation is due and payable upon arrival.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.
Additional occupancy fees
All rooms have a maximum occupancy of two guests, except for our Ocean Facing Double Queen rooms. Ocean Facing Double Queen room rates are based on double occupancy. An additional fee of $25 per person, per night applies for a third and fourth guest.
Cancellation
30+ day notice: Full refund of deposit
14-29 day notice: Refund of deposit, minus $25 cancellation fee
Less than 14 day notice: Non-refundable
Pre-paid rates are non-refundable
Changes or cancellations to reservation MUST be made directly through the party you booked. If you booked directly through our website, you can cancel yourself online. If you booked through another website or booking engine (such as from Google), you will need to cancel through that platform.
Due to the size and seasonal nature of our business, cancellations affect us considerably. Room charges cannot be void after check-in. We cannot take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies. No refund is provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows or weather-related cancellations.
Parking
Please park in any space with a cone (place it behind your vehicle after parking!) upon check-in. We ask all guests with smaller vehicles to park underneath the beach club building (the building on the right when facing the ocean).
Vehicles must be moved upon check-out. We offer 1 complimentary parking space per room. Due to our limited parking, we cannot accommodate additional vehicles. An electric vehicle charging station is available and is on a first-come basis. Guests with contactless check-in will find a parking pass in their room.
Front Desk Hours
Our office will be open with limited hours. If the office is closed, check-ins and check-outs will be done remotely. If you need help, the front desk at our sister property, The Nevada (just 300 feet away), is open daily for any requests.
If you need urgent after hours help, please call our phone number and dial extension 9 — you will be connected to a member of staff who lives nearby. If it is an emergency, please dial 911.
Pet-free and smoke-free
Stones throw is a completely pet-free property. We do not allow pets inside or on the property which may result in a fine and/or removal from the property. We do allow service animals as defined under the american disabilities act which have been trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals do not fall under the americans with disabilities act.
Stones throw is pleased to offer a smoke-free environment and hotel. There is no smoking cigarettes, cigars, illegal substances, vapes, or vape pens in the rooms, on the decks or balconies, or anywhere other than the designated smoking area. There will be a fee assessed for smoking in the rooms or on the decks or balconies and could result in removal from the property.
Additional fees
Your $15 facilities fee from May through October covers our complimentary amenities including beach chair, umbrella, and towel borrowing, in addition to an outdoor rinse-off shower to wash away sand after the beach. You also have access to discounts to yoga by Nubble Lighthouse at The Viewpoint, surf lessons with Long Sands Surf School, and tickets to Ogunquit Playhouse.
In the double-queen rooms only, we can accommodate up to 4 guests maximum. there is a $25 charge per person, per night for these additional guests.
