As we all adapt to a new normal during these times, we have made necessary changes to our practices and available amenities, ensuring that our staff, guests, and customers all remain safe & healthy. *The state of Maine has implemented travel & lodging restrictions to maintain a safe environment for its residents and traveling guests.
As of November 16th, 2020:
All Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire residents are allowed to stay at a hotel and are exempt from
a 14-day quarantine or COVID-19 test.
If you are not a resident of one of the states listed above, please read below:
-Residents from any state other than those listed above, must have quarantined for 14 days in one of the states listed prior to staying at a hotel.
-If you wish to forgo the 14-day quarantine in one of the listed states, adults and children 12 months & older may obtain & receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arrival. PCR based & Rapid testing are acceptable. Antibody testing is not acceptable at this time
-Guests may also quarantine in their room for the duration of their stay. Guests who are quarantining for the duration of their stay must comply with Maine's quarantine requirements and may not visit restaurants, businesses, crowded public spaces, shared public facilities, or dining rooms.
All guests, except for those from the listed states, are REQUIRED to fill out a
Certificate of Compliance, issued by the state of Maine.
Certificate must be completed prior to check-in.
York Beaches are OPEN for sunbathing & sitting, with limits. Click here to view limits.
Restaurants in York are open for dine-in, takeout, and outdoor dining. We suggest contacting any restaurant directly as services & procedures may differ between businesses.
Cloth masks are required indoors and in public settings, regardless of the ability to physical distance.

Before You Arrive
Please be sure that you have provided us with a cell phone number in case we need to contact you during your stay. Any room balances will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise designated prior to your arrival. In keeping your reservation, you are agreeing to have the card on file charged, as well as agreeing to our hotel policies, which can be found in your confirmation email attachment or our information page.
We are requiring a remote check-in & check-out for all of our guests. You MUST let us know when you have arrived at your room. The day of your arrival, you will receive a text message from Crane Hotel Group. Once you opt-in, directions to your room will be provided and additional information & parking pass will be waiting for you in your room. Your keys will be left in a lockbox at your room, and your unique lockbox code will be provided to you shortly before your check-in. If you prefer not to opt-in to our texts, you must call or email us to get this information. *To ensure your safety, all lockbox codes are changed between reservations.
During Your Stay
-Guests must use the rear stairs in each building to access their rooms. There is no entry available through the restaurant front entrance in the Main Building, or the front deck at the Beach Club Building. Please note that the decks at both buildings may be used for outdoor dining at the restaurant.
-Due to the size and nature of our suites, and the time it takes to thoroughly clean and sanitize them, we will not be offering early check-in or late check-out at this time.
-Housekeeping will not be offering in-room services at this time. Are you a BIG coffee drinker? Make sure you tell us! Dry skin? We'll get you extra lotion! We are happy to give you a customized bag of any necessities you may need more of during your stay with us, just let us know!
-You may leave any rubbish & dirty towels in the provided bags outside of your room and we will exchange them for you. Please call, text (if opted-in), or email us by 3pm each day to let us know what we can get for you!
-The ice machine will not be available for hotel guest self-serve. Please let us know if you need ice and we will bring it to you!
-Beach chairs, bicycles, and beach towel rentals (The Beach Club) will not be available at this time.
-Our crew has been trained on the latest sanitizing & disinfecting procedures, and is using approved antiviral cleaners.
-Being green is important to us, but so are you! To keep your room fresh & sanitized, we are using EPA & CDC approved cleaners which may not all be from Seventh Generation. We will switch back to using Seventh Generation products as soon as we feel it is safe to do so.
-We are sanitizing all frequent-touch areas such as remotes, light switches, railings, window-shade pulls, and doorknob/door handles throughout the day.
-We are wearing masks! Guests will also be required to wear masks in common areas where social distancing is not possible. You do not have to wear your mask in your room.
